Ingredients
Baked chicken
200 g chicken breast
2 tsp chicken seasoning
Pinch of salt
0,5 tsp black pepper
0,5 tsp garlic powder
A drizzle of olive oil
Coriander - amount to taste
Creamy orzo
1 shallot
1 garlic clove
1 red pointed pepper
250 ml vegan cooking cream
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Sweet chili flakes - amount to taste
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp turmeric
0,5 tsp ginger powder
500 g orzo
500 ml boiling water
Vegan grated cheese - amount to taste
Coriander - amount to taste
Instructions
Slice the chicken breast through the middle and marinate with the spices and olive oil.
Pan-fry the chicken for 10 minutes, then transfer to the air-fryer. Air fry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway so both sides cook evenly.
In the same pan, add the chopped shallot and garlic. Bake for 5 minutes. Add the red pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
Pour in the cooking cream and add all the spices. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Give everything a gentle stir, then add the orzo. Pour in the boiling water until the orzo is fully covered. Cover the pan and cook until the orzo is done.
Finish with coriander and grated cheese.
When serving, sprinkle extra sweet chili flakes over the chicken.
