These cookies are irresistibly soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside, seriously addictive! The combination of creamy peanut butter, rich chocolate, and a subtle crunch from almond and sesame makes them perfect for Eid or as a sweet treat after dinner. And the best part? They’re completely dairy-free!
Ingredients
150 g plant-based butter
100 g brown sugar
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 eggs
250 g flour
16 g baking powder
1 tbsp roasted almond & toasted sesame mix
50 g dark chocolate
Instructions
Melt the butter in a pan and let it cool.
Pour the melted butter into a bowl together with the brown sugar and peanut butter. Mix well.
Add the eggs one by one and mix until fully combined.
Sift the flour and baking powder, then mix into the batter.
Fold in the roasted almond & sesame mix along with the grated chocolate.
Cover the bowl and let the dough rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
Divide the dough into small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
Let the cookies rest after baking to prevent them from breaking.
